This article will help you determine if your Smart Home system is compatible with our locks. 

  

## Yale Assure Locks and Levers are compatible with the following Yale Smart Modules:

*   Yale Access Upgrade Kit – AYR202-CBA-KIT
*   ZW2 (Z-Wave Plus)
    *   Assure 2 Locks (YRD450/430/420/410): [AYR-MOD-ZW2-USA](https://shopyalehome.com/products/yale-z-wave-plus-smart-module-for-assure-locks-yrd450430420410?variant=41397668970628)
    *   Assure Locks (YRD256/226/216) and nexTouch: [AYR202-ZWV-USA](https://shopyalehome.com/products/yale-z-wave-plus-smart-module?variant=31244290883716)
*   HA2 (Zigbee 3.0) - AYR202-ZB-HA

## How do I know if I have an Assure Lock 2 or Assure Lock/Lever?

Check for these two things:

1.  Your keypad should show a check and gear icon
2.  Remove your battery cover, there should be a slot above the batteries for a Yale Smart Module.

If your keypad has a # and \*, you have an older generation Yale lock.
