This article provides steps for connecting your Yale Assure Lock 2 with Wi-Fi to your home Wi-Fi network.

Select either iOS or Android, depending on your device, and follow the steps below to connect your Yale Assure Lock 2 with Wi-Fi to your Wi-Fi network:

## iOS

PLEASE NOTE: If you are using an iOS device, your smartphone must be connected to the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect your Assure Lock 2 remotely.

  

1.  Open the Yale Access App. Select the associated Home from your Keychain
2.  Select the gear icon to navigate to **Lock Settings**
3.  Select the associated device to open **Lock Settings**
4.  Scroll to the Utilities section. Select **Connect to Wi-Fi Network**
5.  Select **START** and begin following the prompts
    *   Select **CONTINUE** to begin the setup process
    *   Select **START** to connect to Wi-Fi
6.  Confirm that your phone is currently connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network you would like your smart lock to connect to.
    *   If not, select **USE A DIFFERENT NETWORK** and either connect your phone to the desired network or enter the SSID of the desired network
7.  Select **BEGIN WI-FI SETUP**
8.  Enter the network password OR check the box that says **My network does not require a password** (if applicable) and then **CONTINUE**
9.  The connection process may take a few moments. It is helpful to perform this action while you are situated near your Assure Lock 2
10.  If the setup process is successful, you will see the screen denoting that setup is complete. Select **CONTINUE**. Next, test the Wi-Fi signal strength of your network.

## Android

1.  Open the Yale Access App and select the associated Home from your Keychain
2.  Select the gear icon to navigate to **Lock Settings**
3.  Select the associated device to open **Lock Settings**
4.  Scroll to the Utilities section and select **Connect to Wi-Fi Network**
5.  Select **BEGIN WI-FI SETUP**
6.  Select the Wi-Fi network that you would like to connect your smart lock to and select **CONTINUE**
7.  Enter the network password or check the box that says **My network does not require a password** (if applicable) and then **CONTINUE**
8.  The connection process may take a few moments. It is helpful to perform this action while you are situated near your Assure Lock 2
9.  If the setup process is successful, you will see the screen denoting that setup is complete.

This completes the setup of your Yale Assure Lock 2 to your Wi-Fi network.
