*   First confirm the Matter enabled app you are using supports custom entry codes. 
*   Next navigate to the lock in the Matter enabled app you are using. Entry code set up is typically labeled as Access under the lock or under lock settings. Choose Add and then follow the in-app instructions. 
*   Entry codes should only be set up in one app. 
*   If you set up entry codes in multiple Matter enabled apps a reset from each app followed by a hard factory reset will be required to remove all entry codes from the lock.
