If your Home App shows "No Response" from your Smart Lock, depending on how you are trying to connect to the lock (Bluetooth or Remote/Wi-Fi), follow the troubleshooting steps below for help:

## Bluetooth No Response

Make sure you’re within Bluetooth (BLE) range of your lock. A good way to check is to check the Yale Access App and determine if you are able to connect with the BLE symbol in the corner of your screen.

If you are able to connect with the Yale Access App, but you still get “No Response”in the Home App it might be due to the following:

* Your lock may need to be set up with HomeKit again. Follow the steps below for set up:
    1. In the Yale Access app, go to **Lock Settings** for the lock you would like to set up again.
    2. Tap **HomeKit**.
    3. Tap **Remove HomeKit Accessory**.
    4. In the Home app, confirm your lock is no longer seen as an accessory. If you still see your lock, go to the accessory settings of your lock and tap **Remove Accessory**.
    5. Return to Lock Settings in the Yale Access App.
    6. Tap **HomeKit**.
    7. Follow the instructions to scan and set up your lock on HomeKit.

* Your lock may need to be factory reset.
    1. In the Yale Access app, go to **Lock Settings** for the lock you would like to reset.
    2. Tap **Factory Reset**.
    3. Tap **Reset Lock** to confirm the reset.
    4. In the Home app, confirm your lock is no longer seen as an accessory. If you still see your lock, go to the accessory settings of your lock and tap **Remove Accessory**.
    5. Set up your lock again in the Yale Access App and proceed with HomeKit setup.

* Your lock may need a physical hard reset. Follow the **Hardware Reset instructions**in the articles below for your specific lock:

## Remote / Wi-Fi

Inside the Home App, check Apple bridge connectivity. If you are unable to resolve, confirm you are able to connect to lock over HomeKit while in Bluetooth range:

1. If the Bluetooth works, the issue is likely the Apple hub. Verify that the hub bridge is working, is not asleep, and within Bluetooth range of the lock.
2. If you cannot connect over Bluetooth, check the lock batteries first. If that doesn't resolve the issue, disable HomeKit and set it up again.

If you are still experiencing issues:

* Your lock may need a physical hard reset. Follow the **Hardware Reset instructions**in the articles below for your specific lock:
