## Do I need an app to use Yale Code?

No. Yale Code is a non-connected keypad lock. All functions, such as adding and removing entry codes, setting up Auto-Lock, and adjusting sound settings, occur directly on the lock and can be completed within seconds.

  

## How do I add or delete entry codes?

## How many codes will the Yale Code hold?

The Yale Code can store up tp 20 entry codes.

  

## How many digits can an entry code be?

Each entry code must be 4-8 digits long.

## Is the cylinder rekeyable?

Yes, the cylinder is rekeyable

  

## Does Yale Code come with DoorSense?

No, Yale Code does not use DoorSense.

  

## Can I upgrade Yale Code to be able to work with smart home systems?

No, Yale Code is a non-connected keypad lock and does not have the ability to be upgraded.

  

## When the batteries die, do I need to add in new codes?

No , all your codes will remain.

  

## What are the toggle switches under the battery cover, above the batteries?

Lock Handling

*   The toggle to the far left is for Lock Handling
*   Move the toggle to the **left** for left handed doors
*   Move the toggle to the **right** for right handed doors
*   Note: if the lock is installed with the improper handing, the lock will not function correctly. First try adjusting the lock handing toggle to see if that fixes the issue. If the issue is not resolved, remove the interior side of the lock and adjust the thumbturn position and reinstall.

Audio Mode

*   The toggle in the middle is for Audio

Auto-Lock

*   The toggle to the far right is for Auto-Lock

  

## How do I turn off the Lock sound?

## Does Yale Code have auto-lock?
